Prohibido criticar

Este artículo iba a tener un rumbo totalmente diferente porque iba a recordar un nuevo aniversario del inolvidable penal que Roma le atajó a Delem, pero escuchando un famoso programa partidario luego del empate en cero contra Huracán tuve la desgracia de oír a varios “hinchas” de Boca criticando a Palermo por no poder convertir, una cosa inadmisible para mí.
¿Cómo se puede hablar en contra de un tipo que gritó con el alma 210 goles con la azul y oro? ¿Qué se le puede decir a un jugador que representó al hincha de Boca en 344 partidos? ¿Cómo se puede criticar a un delantero que le hizo ganar al por entonces equipo de Bianchi una Copa Intercontinental con dos goles frente al Real Madrid? Y así podríamos seguir enumerando cosas por horas.
La realidad es que Palermo está pasando por una racha negativa en la que lleva 741 minutos sin marcar, la última vez que convirtió fue en el mismísimo Monumental luego de un delicioso taco de Riquelme. Pero no hay que olvidarse de una situación que no es ajena al momento de Martín: el pobre presente de Boca y -salvo Gaitán- de sus jugadores.
Puede ser que Palermo no esté pasando por su mejor momento futbolístico, pero también hay que entender que Riquelme –su mejor socio dentro de la cancha- está lesionado, que Insúa pasa por un bajón y que Gaitán no es el compañero de ataque que mejor le viene al 9.
Todas estas cosas hacen que el goleador no pueda repetir lo que tantas veces hizo: llenarse la boca de gol para acallar algunas voces que ahora lo critican pero que en otros momentos lo endiosan. Y ese día marcará un nuevo capitulo de la película de Martín…
